Too Good To Refuse has returned to racing in slick form this time and remains an outright $3.10 favourite in 2016 George Moore Stakes betting markets with Ladbrokes.com.au, ahead of Most Important ($5), Big Money and Miss Cover Girl; currently sharing the third line at generous $8 odds.

Will Too Good To Refuse justify favouritism and win the 2016 George Moore Stakes, or will one of his talented rivals post an upset?

1st

That’s A Good Idea ($11)

Peter and Paul Snowden have a great strike rate in Brisbane this year, That’s A Good Idea has built well into this race and undoubtedly offers punters the best value for money at 2016 George Moore Stakes odds of $11. Posting a career total of nine wins and twelve minors through thirty-nine starts, the Flying Spur gelding resumed this time for sixth in the Listed Lightning (1100m). Progressing to fifth in the Choisir Handicap (1100m), That’s A Good Idea was last seen finishing fourth in the All Our Mob Handicap (1200m) on November 12th. Glen Colless takes the ride on That’s A Good Idea, who should find a nice sit from barrier 9.

2nd

Big Money ($8)

Big Money’s class is sure to count for plenty when he lines up for the George Moore Stakes first-up; a race he won in 2014. Posting ten race wins and a further seven minors through twenty-seven competitive starts, the Choisir gelding finished sixth in the Group 1 The Goodwood (1200m) upon resuming in May, and while failing to fire in the Group 1 Stradbroke Handicap (1400m), ran a close second in the Listed Ramornie Handicap (1200m) and fifth in the Group 2 Missile Stakes (1200m) most recently. Having trialled well, Big Money will leave from the ideal barrier 6 with regular hoop Robert Thompson in the saddle.

3rd

Too Good To Refuse ($3.10)

Too Good To Refuse appears to have returned to racing in career-best form this time, has been charged with carrying only 54kgs and will be right in the finish of the George Moore Stakes. Winner of the Toowoomba Guineas (1625m) before finishing second in the Group 3 Gunsynd Classic (1630m) most notably in winter, Too Good To Refuse resumed this time for second in the Queensland X-Ray Handicap (1110m) before taking out the Listed Keith Noud Quality (1200m). Allocated the rails draw, the Rothesay entire will be partnered by leading Queensland hoop Jim Byrne.
